    ASCOM Platform Standard for Astronomy

 

   ASCOM (AStronomy Common Object Model) is an open initiative to provide a standard interface to a range of astronomy equipment including mounts, focusers and imaging devices in a Microsoft Windows environment.

    The EQMOD Project

 

   The EQMOD project consists of a suite of open source applications that can provide an alternative to the hand controller on supported German Equatorial Mounts. There are some comprises of a suite of applications: EQASCOM; EQMOSAIC; EQTOUR; EQMODLX; PERECORDER; PECPrep; ASCOMPAD.

    STELLARIUM

 

   Stellarium is a free open source planetarium for your computer. It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope. The planetarium allow to used some plug-in like: telescope control, Oculars, Field of View and so on.
 

   

    STELLARIUM SCOPE

 

   StellariumScope is a free add-on that enables you to control your telescope with Stellarium planetarium program. StellariumScope provides the interface between Stellarium and the ASCOM telescope drivers; provides the ability to both "Sync" and "Slew" the telescope. It's also possible to issue a stop/cancel command from Stellarium.

 

    CANON EOS UTILITY

 

   EOS Utility is an application that brings together functions to communicate with the camera. These functions include downloading and displaying images, remote shooting, and camera control for each setting.

 

    PHD GUIDING

 

   PHD Guiding is a simple, powerful and intelligent software for auto-guiding. In PHD Guiding, all calibration is taken care of automatically. You do not need to tell it anything about the orientation of your camera, or image scale. The automatic calibration routine takes care of this for you.
